Michele graduated with a Master of Speech Pathology in 2004 and is an Australian qualified speech pathologist with relevant local experience.
She worked in a variety of early intervention and school-based services in not for profit and private practice settings.
Michele has a special interest in school-age literacy and has undertaken extensive training in a variety of evidence-based programs and practices to support students with oral language, reading, spelling and writing difficulties. She has also successfully treated preschool and school-age children with speech sound disorders, language, reading, spelling and writing skills. Michele is able to assist with a diagnosis in Specific Learning Disorder with impairment in reading and Specific Learning Disorder with impairment in written expression.
She is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia and continually undertakes professional development to keep up to date with evidence-based practice. She is also a member of Learning Difficulties Australia and Dyslexia SPELD Foundation WA
Michele has a current Working with Children Check.
